So you've moved into your new accommodation, want fast, cheap and reliable Wi-Fi, and only want to pay for what you need. Oh, and you can't be bothered with all those bills, Direct Debits and long-winded forms, right?

Well, HornetPLUS and Wifi Hotzone have everything you need! If your accommodation is HornetPLUS enabled, you can get pay-as-you-go wireless internet instantly, from your Wifi Hotzone broadband router or access point.

We'll give you your own personal account that you can use to access the internet at home and at any Wifi Hotzone location. The service is compatible with any computer, smartphone or games console that has a Wi-Fi card, and you can set up your account on multiple devices (though there are limits on how many devices can be using your account at any one time).

What services do you support?

Access to the internet is completely unrestricted, so you can browse Facebook, YouTube, MySpace or whatever you want, to your heart's content. In particular, Wifi Hotzone supports the following:

• Free Catch-Up TV: The Wifi Hotzone service is fully compatible with services such as BBC iPlayer and Sky Player*.
• Unlimited VOIP Telephone Calls: You can use services such as Skype to make unlimited free calls to other Skype users worldwide, and UK and international mobiles and landlines for pennies!

* Additional charges or subscriptions may be applicable, which we have no control over. You must be covered by a valid TV Licence to watch or record TV as it's being broadcast

How much does it cost?

What it costs is completely up to you; all access is Pay As You Go, so you only need to pay for what you need! Wifi Hotzone offers a range of packages, from 1 hour to 1 month in duration, so there is no need to pay for holidays and other times that you'll be away from your student accommodation.

Of course, since you can use your account within range of any Wifi Hotzone location across the country, you may find that you just can't live without it!

So how do I get it?

Signing up to Wifi Hotzone couldn't be easier; if you live in a property that is already HornetPLUS enabled, then connect your device to the wireless network 'Wifi Hotzone', choose and pay for your package and away you go.

If your property is not currently HornetPLUS enabled, then you'll need to speak to your landlord about arranging an installation.
