Do you want to provide unlimited, easy-to-use Internet access for your tenants,
while making money from the service every month? With HornetPLUS and Wifi Hotzone,
you can earn 25% of all internet airtime purchases made at your property!
In addition, as each person accesses the internet through their own account, you
are immune from any issues arising from your tenants downloading questionable or
illegal material.
What does it cost to set up?
Installation of the service is a flat rate of £150 inc VAT per household. This provides
you with a wireless broadband router, which people can then use to connect to the
internet, anywhere within range.
You need to have an existing BT phone line to your property before you can proceed
with installation. If you do not, we can arrange for a line to be installed, at
an additional cost of £100 inc VAT, a saving of £24.99 on the usual BT line installation
price.
If you already have broadband on your telephone line, then you need do nothing more;
our system will work through your existing setup.
If you do not have broadband, or wish to simplify your bills, we can offer you line
rental plus unlimited broadband for only £24.99 per month inc VAT.
Revenue sharing
Once your router is up and running, your tenants can purchase pay-as-you-go wireless
internet access directly through your router. And every time they do, you receive
25% of any payment they make!
Remember though it is the value of internet access packages purchased, rather than
amount of usage, which is used to calculate your revenue.
An Example Month
Assume you have a property with four tenants. Each buys a month's access. One has
a friend stay for a weekend, who buys a couple of days' access to check his email.
Additionally, in a non HornetPLUS enabled student house next door, one student sees
the network and decides to buy access rather than having to sort out their own broadband
and line rental.
